How it's done:
If you have purchased your package from a Christmas Tree Farm, you should have already obtained the shipping box. Next, all you have to do is to cut off the bottom of your Christmas tree to a size that will fit into the box, (maximum of 5 inches in diameter and 20 inches long). Stuff the remaining area with newspaper or other packing materials to keep the log from moving during shipping. Then, tape the box with a secure tape, i.e. clear packing tape. The prepaid shipping label has already been applied to the box, make sure you do not cover any of the shipping label. Then simply take the box to any UPS shipping store and give them your box. Your log is now on it's way to me. Once I receive the package, I will tag the log, see the amount of usable materials, and then call you to discuss your wishes and determine the feasability of what you would like to have made.
If you do not have a shipping box:
Make contact with me by either e-mail or by phone. Once your purchase the box from me, I will send you the empty shipping container with the prepaid mailing label affixed. Then follow the instructions from above on how to send the lumber piece to me.
Projected time of completion:
The combination of drying time in the kiln and the projected work load, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. This completion time may change depending on the call volumn, if this delivery time changes, I will make every effort to notify you of the slight delay in delivery.
Thank You for your interest in having something special made for you or a loved one.
